Lamba Care Group
Lamba Care Group is a family-owned British care group, drawing on nearly two decades of experience in care. Our name is on every home we run, and that is deliberate: it stands for personal accountability for the care each person receives.
What matters most to us is simple. We lead with compassion, dignity, integrity and accountability — so that residents, staff and the families who trust us feel welcome, heard and reassured.
Each home keeps its own character, community and long-serving staff, supported by consistent standards, proper investment and owners who visit, listen and know people by name. Today that means two nursing homes in West Yorkshire and Cumbria, and any growth will be careful enough to keep the human element of care intact.
Our Homes

Brighouse, West Yorkshire
A nursing home on Crowtrees Lane in Rastrick, registered for up to 38 people, offering nursing, residential, dementia and palliative care with a full-time activities team and its own kitchen.

Ulverston, Cumbria
A single-storey home on Rake Lane in Ulverston, refurbished throughout in 2019, offering nursing, residential, dementia, respite and end of life care in 37 single rooms and three companion rooms.

Our Care
Across the group we provide residential, nursing, dementia and respite care, along with palliative support where it is needed. Every stay begins with a proper conversation about your loved one: their health, their history and what a good day looks like to them.
Our Approach
Care plans are built around their preferences, routines and history, then reviewed properly as needs change.
Open visiting, honest updates and staff who know you by name, so families stay part of daily life.
Choice over meals, routines and privacy, respected in small decisions as well as big ones.
Regular audit, clinical oversight and family owners who visit the homes and ask the difficult questions.
Life in Our Homes
Tea in the afternoon, the garden in summer, a proper Sunday lunch, familiar faces in the corridor. Life in our homes is built from the everyday.

Our People
Good care is delivered by people who feel valued. We pay attention to training, progression and the practical things that make a shift work — proper staffing levels, sensible rotas and managers who are present on the floor.
Many of our team have been with their home for years. That stability is the single biggest reason our residents feel known.
